theproducttothenetworkshallbeintendedfortheirspecicuse.Makesurethatthe
networkdevicesareinstalledinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructions.For
informationaboutregulatoryrequirements,seeRegulatoryInformation,onpage2.
•IfusingPoweroverEthernet,waitwithconnectingthenetworkcabletothenetworkuntil
thealltheotherwireshavebeenconnected.
•Toallowforfuturemaintenance,toavoidexcessivestrainonwiresandconnectors,andto
avoiddamagetoconductorinsulation,leaveaserviceloopandmakesureallcablesand
wiresareproperlysupportedandsecured.Usethesuppliedcableties.
•Toprotectthecircuitsagainstelectrostaticdischarge(ESD),useESDprotectionwhen
connectingwirestotheproduct.
1.Loopthenetworkcablearoundthecableguideandconnectthenetworkcabletothe
networkconnector.
2.Securethenetworkcabletothecableguideusingoneofthesuppliedcableties.
