•Ifyouupgradethermware,AXISEntryManagerwillcontinuetousetheselectedlanguage.

ConguretheHardware

Beforeyoucanmanagethedoors,thehardwaremustbeconguredintheHardwareCongurationpages.

Doors,locksandotherdevicescanbeconnectedtotheAxisproductbeforecompletingthehardwareconguration.However,the

connectionofdeviceswillbeeasierifyoucompletethehardwarecongurationrst.Thisisbecausethehardwarepinchartwillbe

availablewhenthecongurationiscomplete.Thehardwarepinchartisaguideonhowtoconnectthepinsandcanbeusedasa

referencesheetformaintenance.Formaintenanceinstructions,seepage23.

Ifconguringthehardwareforthersttime,selectoneofthefollowingmethods:

•Importahardwarecongurationle.Seepage13.

•Createanewhardwareconguration.Seepage14.

ImportaHardwareCongurationFile

ThehardwarecongurationoftheAxisproductcanbecompletedfasterbyimportingahardwarecongurationle.

Byexportingthelefromoneproductandimportingittoothers,youcanmakemultiplecopiesofthesamehardwaresetupwithout

havingtorepeatthesamestepsoverandoveragain.Youcanalsostoreexportedlesasbackupsandusethemtorestoreprevious

hardwarecongurations.Formoreinformation,seeExportaHardwareCongurationFileonpage13.

Toimportahardwarecongurationle:

1.GotoSetup>HardwareConguration.

2.ClickImporthardwarecongurationor,ifthereahardwarecongurationalreadyexists,Resetandimporthardware

conguration.

3.Inthelebrowserdialogthatappears,locateandselectthehardwarecongurationle(*.json)onyourcomputer.

4.ClickOK.

ExportaHardwareCongurationFile

ThehardwarecongurationoftheAxisproductcanbeexportedtomakemultiplecopiesofthesamehardwaresetup.Youcanalso

storeexportedlesasbackupsandusethemtorestoreprevioushardwarecongurations.

Toexportahardwarecongurationle:

1.GotoSetup>HardwareConguration.

2.ClickExporthardwareconguration.

3.Dependingonthebrowser,youmayneedtogothroughadialogtocompletetheexport.

Unlessotherwisespecied,theexportedle(*.json)issavedinthedefaultdownloadfolder.Youcanselectadownload

folderinthewebbrowser’susersettings.
