1.Createaself-signedcerticateasdescribedabove.

2.GotoSetup>AdditionalControllerConguration>SystemOptions>Security>Certicates.

3.ClickCreatecerticatesigningrequestandprovidetherequestedinformation.

4.CopythePEM-formattedrequestandsendtotheCAofyourchoice.

5.Whenthesignedcerticateisreturned,clickInstallcerticateanduploadthecerticate.

Server/ClientcerticatescanbeinstalledasCerticatefromsigningrequestorasCerticateandprivatekey.SelectCerticate

andprivatekeyiftheprivatekeyistobeuploadasaseparateleorifthecerticateisinPKCS#12format.

TheAxisproductisshippedwithseveralpreinstalledCAcerticates.Ifrequired,additionalCAcerticatescanbeinstalled:

2.ClickInstallcerticateanduploadthecerticate.

TheAxisproduct’sdateandtimesettingsareconguredunderSetup>AdditionalControllerConguration>SystemOptions>

Date&Time.

CurrentServerTimedisplaysthecurrentdateandtime(24hclock).

Tochangethedateandtimesettings,selectthepreferredTimemodeunderNewServerTime:

•Synchronizewithcomputertime–Setsdateandtimeaccordingtothecomputer’sclock.Withthisoption,dateand

timearesetonceandwillnotbeupdatedautomatically.

•SynchronizewithNTPServer–ObtainsdateandtimefromanNTPserver.Withthisoption,dateandtimesettingsare

updatedcontinuously.ForinformationonNTPsettings,seeNTPCongurationonpage45.

IfusingahostnamefortheNTPserver,aDNSservermustbecongured.SeeDNSCongurationonpage45.

•Setmanually–Allowsyoutomanuallysetdateandtime.

IfusinganNTPserver,selectyourTimezonefromthedrop-downlist.Ifrequired,checkAutomaticallyadjustfordaylightsaving

timechanges.

BasicTCP/IPSettings

TheAxisproductsupportsIPversion4(IPv4).

TheAxisproductcangetanIPv4addressinthefollowingways:

•DynamicIPaddress–ObtainIPaddressviaDHCPisselectedbydefault.ThismeansthattheAxisproductissettoget

theIPaddressautomaticallyviaDynamicHostCongurationProtocol(DHCP).

DHCPallowsnetworkadministratorstocentrallymanageandautomatetheassignmentofIPaddresses.

•StaticIPaddress–TouseastaticIPaddress,selectUsethefollowingIPaddressandspecifytheIPaddress,subnetmask

anddefaultrouter.ThenclickSave.

DHCPshouldonlybeenabledwhenusingdynamicIPaddressnotication,oriftheDHCPcanupdateaDNSserverthatmakes

itpossibletoaccesstheAxisproductbyname(hostname).
